Mustang Cat is actively hiring skilled Industrial Power Technicians for both shop and field service roles. If you're an experienced Engine Rebuild Mechanic or a motivated Senior Diesel Engine Mechanic , this opportunity puts you at the forefront of servicing diesel and natural gas power systems used across critical infrastructure throughout Texas.
What You'll Do as an Industrial Power Technician:
As a Diesel & Natural Gas Industrial Engine Technician , you'll perform comprehensive maintenance and repair on industrial engine systems. From diagnostics to reconditioning and component testing, you'll be essential to powering our customers' success. Responsibilities include:
* Perform engine disassembly, reassembly, and precision reconditioning
* Conduct diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and technical analysis
* Remove and install industrial engines and generator sets
* Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems
* Conduct failure analysis and testing to ensure peak performance
* Work independently or as part of a team in both shop and field environments

Requirements:
* Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Associate's degree or technical certification preferred
* Previous mechanic or military experience working on engine systems
* In-depth knowledge of engine, hydraulic, and electronic components
* Strong technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting abilities
