Entity: Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital | Department: Facilities Management | Work Hours: 07:00-15:30 | Weekend Requirements: As Needed | 1.0 FTE
Job Summary: Completes electrical maintenance functions throughout the hospital and Facilities' supported areas.
Job Responsibilities: - Performs general electrical repairs and preventative maintenance tasks on electrical systems, motors, emergency generators, and other electromechanical equipment.
- Responds as assigned to emergency codes and procedures.
- Uses various tools associated with electrical maintenance including hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Works on other maintenance related tasks as the needs of the department require.
Skills and Attributes: - Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
- Works under minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Position Requirements: Work Experience Education - High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire
Licensure/Certification/Registration - Electrician - Journeyman or Master Electrician's license in state of Kentucky required upon hire
