We are seeking a skilled Elevator Installer to join our team in Akron. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain elevators according to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with elevators. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of parts. Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly before handing it over to the client. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and potential concerns or delays. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on job sites. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights. Mechanical aptitude with experience in a relevant field such as construction or maintenance preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical systems is an asset. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics is required. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills in English.
