Luxor Staffing is hiring a  Industrial Maintenance Technician paying $25 per hour or more depending on experience!! Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on steel production equipment, including conveyors, furnaces, rolling mills, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Repair or replace defective components such as motors, belts, sensors, and control systems with precision.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation for all repairs and inspections.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities that align with operational demands.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades to existing equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a steel manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls, and automation.
• Troubleshooting industrial equipment
• Working with stainless steel components
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production machinery, motors, conveyors, and sensors.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
