Global Tax Specialist

Our organization is a long-standing, thriving regional accounting firm specializing in global tax services. This role offers a flexible work arrangement with a combination of office and remote work options.

As our company continues to expand, we are in search of a Tax Specialist with a background in international taxation and a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting. Join our team to collaborate with partners on challenging projects in a supportive and professional office setting. Proficiency in Japanese is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile global tax returns for various entities including corporations, partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, and trusts.
• Address intricate accounting and tax challenges.
• Conduct in-depth tax research.
• Cultivate and nurture client relationships.
• Identify opportunities for tax planning and consulting.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of tax experience, preferably in a public accounting setting.
• Active CPA license.
• Demonstrate attention to detail with excellent communication, organization, and analytical abilities.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to grasp complex tax and accounting issues while meeting deadlines.
• Show advanced proficiency in technical skills and deliver high-quality work.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship in the future.
• Experience with international tax and proficiency in both English and Japanese is a plus.
