Role Overview

Help improve next-generation AI systems by providing accurate, real-world Japanese and English language expertise. This remote contract role focuses on producing and refining high-quality bilingual transcription work. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe audio and written materials between Japanese and English.
• Review and edit transcripts for linguistic accuracy and contextual fidelity.
• Provide linguistic feedback that improves transcription processes.
• Collaborate with remote team members to maintain project quality standards.
• Manage multiple transcription assignments, meet deadlines, and deliver polished work.
• Communicate effectively with team members through written and verbal channels.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Japanese proficiency and strong English skills.
• Experience in transcription, translation, or related language services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and time management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with transcription tools and digital collaboration platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with bilingual transcription projects.
• Familiarity with technical terminology across multiple industries.
• Background in language studies, linguistics, or a related field.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $30 to $65 per hour.
