Maintenance Technician

Location: Pasadena, TX (Onsite)
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Overview

ProSource Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support facility operations in Pasadena, TX. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, facility systems, and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical experience, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic carpentry tasks.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment including fillers, cappers, labelers, case sealers, printers, drop packers, and palletizers.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and document equipment performance.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs and identify equipment issues to complete necessary repairs.
• Diagnose machinery failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure safety systems are functioning properly, including fans, alarms, gas detectors, and fire suppression systems.
• Perform HVAC maintenance such as replacing belts, filters, bearings, and other components.
• Complete minor electrical repairs, including replacing light bulbs and fuses.
• Assist with coordination of outside contractors, vendors, and engineering support.
• Provide technical guidance and training to production team members.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active forklift certification required.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, and work in tight or awkward spaces.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
