Position Overview
\nCentral Maine Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our Nocturnal Hospitalist team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality inpatient medicine in a collaborative, patient-centered environment while enjoying a flexible nocturnist schedule.

Admit patients from the emergency department
Cross-cover and manage existing hospitalized patients
Respond to overnight clinical changes and rapid responses
Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and care teams
Ensure thorough documentation and effective handoffs

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Eligible for or active Maine medical license
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $336,000 to $378,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
