Overview Chara Christian Dance Academy’s Music Department is looking to hire Part-Time Private Music Instructors to train young musicians in the area of piano, voice, violin and guitar. The mission of this position is deliver quality, high performance music instruction that impacts children and families through the performing arts. Results will be measured by the meeting of student advancement, retention and enjoyment. You will work directly with our Music Director, Cindy Fletcher, to cultivate positive music lessons that last our students a lifetime! Responsibilities Provide high-quality music instruction to children in piano, voice, violin, and guitar as appropriate. Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote student advancement and enjoyment. Collaborate with the Music Director, owner, business manager, and program director to ensure a cohesive program and positive team dynamic. Qualifications Completed or pursuing a music degree preferred Prior teaching experience Other expectations/skills Positive, friendly, and good humored Mature, poised, and reliable Fast, efficient and proficient work Positive interaction with children A desire to make learning fun Compensation Starting at $30/hr.
