TOUR MARKETING MANAGER
Outback Presents is looking for an experienced Tour Marketing Manager who is passionate about live entertainment with an emphasis in comedy, and lives and breathes ticket sales!
The Tour Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the strategic planning, campaign execution, analysis, and performance marketing of tours and live events across North America. They will collaborate with talent agencies, artist management teams, venues, media, internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales, growth, and profitability for touring acts and live entertainment properties.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Research, plan and execute comprehensive, integrated, full-cycle marketing strategies for a high volume of national tours and individual live events (with an emphasis in comedy) across North America..
Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across paid digital and streaming, radio, TV, Outdoor, Grassroots, and promotional to maximize ticket sales and drive fans from awareness to conversion.
Track and manage efficient campaign budgets, media allocations, sales pacing and performance optimization to maximize ROI and ticket conversion.
Conduct and lead market analysis, audience targeting, competitive research and sales forecasting to inform strategic campaign planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and booking/ticketing counterparts to strategize and execute from launch to show day.
Develop strong relationships with media partners, venues, vendors, and artist teams to instill trust and maximize added value.
Report and present on marketing performance with internal and external stakeholders, highlighting campaign results, effectiveness, insights, progress updates, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, music business, or a related field.
4+ years of work experience in marketing, media buying and live events.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while maintaining precision and accuracy.
Proficiency in digital and traditional marketing tactics, data analysis, and market research.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with an ability to lead group calls and build trust.
Positive, proactive attitude with a collaborative mindset, working autonomously and as a team player.
Familiarity with AirTable, TM1, Klayvio, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools, a plus.
Ability to manage and complex stakeholder expectations with poise and confidence.
Additional Details:
Location: Nashville, TN
Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 9AM-6PM
