Job Description Job Description The Cabinet Finisher is responsible for applying high-quality finishes to wood using a variety of materials including stains, dyes, varnishes, lacquers, paints, and enamels. This role requires expertise in surface preparation, polishing, and spray finishing to ensure a durable and aesthetically pleasing final product. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be committed to maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the finishing process. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and repairing imperfections Apply stains, dyes, varnishes, lacquers, paints, and enamels using brush, spray, or other finishing methods Sand and polish finished wood to achieve smooth, uniform surfaces Operate spray finishing equipment safely and efficiently Handle and manage finishing materials and supplies responsibly Inspect finished products for quality and consistency Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety procedures Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in cabinet finishing Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in wood staining techniques and spray finishing Knowledge of sanding methods and surface preparation Strong attention to detail and quality control skills Effective time management and adherence to safety procedures Excellent manual dexterity
