IT Manager (Hybrid / Remote Option)Are you an experienced IT leader ready to drive cloud infrastructure, security, and digital transformation? We are seeking a dedicated IT Manager to lead and maintain our core technology operations. In this role, you will own our cloud environment with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Azure, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). You will partner directly with business stakeholders, manage strategic vendor relationships, and guide a talented technical team to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions that fuel our business growth.Location & FlexibilityWork Arrangement: Hybrid or RemoteDesignated Hub City: Santa Barbara, CA (Remote candidates residing within the United States with proximity to major metropolitan areas are welcome to apply).Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $140,000-$190,000 annually (commensurate with experience)Bonus Structure: Annual performance-based bonus eligibilityHealth & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with employer-funded HSA/FRA optionsRetirement: 401(k) retirement plan with a competitive company matchTime Off: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy, paid company holidays, and flexible working arrangementsProfessional Development: Annual training and certification stipend for Microsoft and cloud architecture credentialsCore ResponsibilitiesCloud & Infrastructure Leadership: Design, deploy, and operate resilient Azure infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, high availability, and proactive cost optimization.Microsoft 365 & Device Management: Manage and maintain M365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD, and Intune for streamlined identity and endpoint management.Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD): Plan, implement, and administer AVD environments tailored for a hybrid workforce, overseeing image management, FSLogix, scaling, and ongoing performance monitoring.Security & Compliance: Develop, enforce, and audit robust security policies, endpoint protection, patch management schedules, and comprehensive backup and disaster recovery strategies.IT Support & Operations: Oversee the IT support function by establishing SLAs, managing ticket workflows, prioritizing incidents, and directing escalation paths.Vendor & Project Management: Manage software licenses, hardware procurement, and cloud service contracts while driving key IT migrations, upgrades, and cross-functional projects.Specialized Software Support: Oversee the integration and administration of professional services and tax-related software platforms-such as Nerdio, SafeSend, and Suralink-coordinating securely with third-party providers.Team Mentorship: Lead, coach, and develop technical team members while producing regular health and performance reports for executive leadership.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience, paired with 5+ years of progressive IT experience and 2+ years in a leadership or management capacity.Technical Mastery: Demonstrated, hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Azure AD, Intune, and designing core Azure resources.AVD Expertise: Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing Azure Virtual Desktop environments in production settings.Security Mindset: Solid understanding of modern networking, enterprise security best practices, and identity access management.Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with professional tax software ecosystems, Nerdio, SafeSend, or Suralink, alongside active Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator AZ-104 or M365 Certified).BenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommute
